I'd never eaten it before and Philip and I spend our time at lunches trying to run the delicious thing down to everyone else, so there will be some for us! It really is most excellent and has a very delicate taste - far more interesting than cooked roast turkey. I hope you all had a happy Christmas, and will enjoy your visit to Scotland in the gales!", two pages, mid-horizontal folding mark, 8vo, Sandringham, 28th December 1959, with original mailing envelope addressed in the Queen's hand.
