AN EXTREMELY FINE PART SILK NAIN RUG, CENTRAL PERSIA, approx: 243cm. x 151cm. Great example for this type, similar to Tudeshk type. Good colour combination and very nicely drawn design. This rug has full pile, soft kurk type wool quality together with part silk used on the field, medallion and borders design. Extremely fine weave, approx; 10 x 9 knots per sq. cm. Selvages original. Ends with original kilim anmd fringes. In general, this rug is in very good condition throughout. Very attrctive and elegant piece.
