A GILT BRONZE BUST OF LORD BYRON IN GREEK UNIFORM France, c. 1830 Raised on a gilt bronze spreading plinth with empty cartouche, mounted on a later black marble base of the same shape, the figure portraying Lord Byron wearing a soft collar shirt open at the neck, a sash or waistcoat decorated with pearl-like buttons and a mantle over his shoulders, the hair combed into thick curls, 24cm high.
