A MID 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GILT BRONZE AND SEVRES STYLE PINK PORCELAIN MOUNTED INKSTAND OR ENCRIER, in the Rococo style, the shaped stand raised on an ormolu base cast with C scrolls and acanthus leaves, the porcelain ink stand decorated with colourful birds of paradise and floral bouquets with gilt borders on a pink ground, the ink pots with foliate mounts around their tapering bases, with ribbon-tied laurel branch covers and hinged lids with acorn finials, opening to reveal two inkpots and a pounce pot with removable canister with separate pierced cover,
