The field with multicoloured linked Arabesque panels, containing polychrome palmettes, stylized flowering vases, fleur de lys, rosettes and flowering vine, in an indigo border of bold polychrome palmettes, angular Arabesques and floral meander, between sandy yellow and rust red rosette and angular floral spray stripes. Outer arrowhead stripes. Approx. 386cm x 280cm. Condition: A beautifully designed carpet with very well drawn motifs and very good colour combination. This carpet has very light localised wear to the top pile, visible on close inspection. Selvages rebound. Ends with original very short fringes with touches of very light fraying. Fine weave, approx. 7 x 7 knots per sq. cm. In general this carpet is in very good useable condition, very attractive and a great furnishing piece.
