TWO MOROCCAN BLUE AND WHITE POTTERY PILGRIM FLASKS
Morocco, North Africa, late 19th - early 20th century

Each of typical compressed globular shape, rising to a small tubular neck, on the shoulders two rounded triangular-shaped handles, pierced and threaded with a string, the front of each flask with a central boss, underglaze painted in cobalt blue on a white ground, each rim painted in turquoise, both flasks presenting painted decoration only on the front including stylised floral designs, the larger flask 14cm diam. and 18cm high.
