An early 20th century sterling silver gilt and enamel compact, import for London 1917 by Cohen and Charles
Of circular form with a hinged lid, engine turned decoration topped with royal blue guilloche enamel, the lid further painted with bamboo against a setting sun. Internal mirror. Together with an Edwardian pill box, Birmingham 1909 by Levi and Salaman, of oval form with a hinged domed lid with guilloche white enamel painted with ribbon tied roses. Gilt interior.
