A SET OF FOUR COPPER RED-GLAZED DISHES.
Qing Dynasty.
With rounded sides on a short foot, decorated to the interior and sides with a thick lustrous ox-blood red glaze thinning to a pale pink at the edges, the base of the largest and smallest of the four with six character seal Jiaqing mark, the second largest with a Qianlong mark in underglaze blue and the last unmarked mark, 15-26cm diameter. Provenance: British Diplomatic Collection, acquired in Beijing prior to 1953.
