Iran, late 19th - early 20th century

Of square shape, polychrome painted in turquoise, cobalt blue, purple, yellow, and brown, all against a white ground, depicting two maidens picking grapes, the one on the right wearing a headpiece with a boteh-shaped ornament and similarly embroidered dress, placing the bunches of grapes in a basket held by a black attendant, 18.8cm x 19.cm.
