A pair of Victorian sterling silver novelty pepper pots, London 1879 by Frederick Brasted
The cast screw thread lids seemingly formed as mice or rats heads in the South American style. The bases on four short bun feet, each engraved with a crest of a stag passant below and earl’s coronet. Each fully marked underneath and to the lids, the lids cast from previous models with hallmarks. (2)
