A DAMASCUS TURQUOISE-GLAZED POTTERY DISH Ottoman Syria, 17th century  Of circular form, on short straight foot, with everted rim, painted in black and covered with turquoise glaze, the decoration consisting of a central polylobed roundel filled with geometric and vegetal motifs, the cavetto embellished with vegetal scrolls of split palmettes and dotted design, the back plain, two stickers with previous sale date 28/02/07 from unnamed auction house, 22cm diam.
