Guo Le is a contemporary Chinese artist known for his unique approach to ink painting. He was born in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China, and currently lives and works in Hangzhou, China. His early artistic training was in traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy, but he later studied Western art at the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou. He is known for his fusion of traditional Chinese ink painting techniques with contemporary artistic concepts and media.

Guo Le's works are characterized by their intricate details, vibrant colors, and bold, gestural brushwork. He often incorporates abstract forms and patterns into his paintings, which are inspired by nature and the world around him. In addition to his paintings, Guo Le has also worked in other media, including sculpture, installation art, and performance art. He has exhibited his works in galleries and museums around the world, including the National Art Museum of China in Beijing, the Shanghai Museum of Art, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Guo Le has received numerous awards and honors for his artistic achievements, including the National Award for Chinese Painting in 2004 and the UNESCO International Award for Young Artists in 1997. He has also served as a professor of art at the China Academy of Art.
