Comprising three oval gold pendants with polychrome-enamelled painted miniature portraits of the Qajar ruler Fath Ali Shah (r. 1797 - 1834), wearing encrusted epaulets, two crossed strings of pearls around his chest and a gem-studded headband, the drop-shaped cartouche to his right indicating the subject's name; and two Qajar youths, one of them with a tall black Astrakhan fur kaj kolah headdress holding a parrot on his finger, the largest 2.5cm x 1.5cm.
