An early 20th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver tea caddy, Lucknow circa 1900
Raj period, of poly-lobed circular form upon three fish feet. The hinged lid surmounted by a chased finial of a caparisoned elephant. The body with deep chased decoration of jungle pattern, with elephants, lions, cranes, and foliage within forest, all below a border of tessellated fish.
