AN EGYPTIAN WOOD SHABTI FOR SETI I New Kingdom, 19th Dynasty, Circa 1294 - 1279 B.C. Depicted mummiform, with hands crossed at the chest, with carved facial features, the mouth in the typical enigmatic smile, wearing a tripartite wig, the frontal column incised with hieroglyphs, 20.3cm high.  Provenance: Ex Phillips 11 April 2001, lot 46; Private collection of a lady, Rome.
