Of conventional form, circular with a domed centre surmounted by a waisted disc top, The domed section with engraved decoration of strapwork and foliate scrolls, the disco top with incised concentric lines. Fully marked to domed section.

Diameter – 8.8 cm / 3.5 inches

Weight – 50 grams / 1.61 ozt

Other Elizabethan silver with this mark is a communion cup of 1570 in Stowe Longa Church, Huntingdon and seal top spoons of 1573 and 1575 in the Armourers’ Company collection
