An early 20th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver hand mirror, Lucknow circa 1900
Raj period. Of oval form, embossed with jungle pattern, with lion and antelope amidst palm trees and a watering hole, a temple in the background, edged with a border of stylised trailng foliate scrolls and grapes. The edge with stylised acanthus scrolls. The handle with a small vacant circular cartouche. The mirror plate with a bevelled edge.
