A late Victorian sterling silver bread basket, Chester 1900 by William Aitken of oval navette form, with reeded edge. The sides with pierced decoration of slats and stars. Each side with an applied lion's head mask with ring. Fully marked to side, rings to mouth. Length - 27 cm / 10.6 inches Weight - 361 grams / 11.61 ozt
