A William III Britannia standard silver twin handled porringer or cup, London 1700 by Edward Wimans
Of rounded circular form upon a short cylindrical foot, with twin S scroll handles. The body with embossed decoration of spiral fluting and a gadrooned upper edge, the front with a vacant oval cartouche surmounted by an urn within a scroll and strapwork cartouche reserved with textured decoration. The underside engraved with contemporaneous initials S over R * M above 10 * 03, in Roman script with simple motifs surrounding. Also engraved underneath with slightly later initials T over S = I in Roman script. Fully marked to the right of handle.
