AN OTTOMAN SILVER INCENSE BURNER  Ottoman Turkey, 19th century  Rising from a stepped bell-shaped foot through to a compressed globular body decorated with incised rosettes and sinuous vegetal scrolls, the pierced lid hinged to the body and decorated with geometric and floral openwork, reminiscent in shape to the top of a minaret, an S-shaped handle on the side, import silver marks on the foot, body and lid, 36cm high.
