In light soft beige border of polychrome palmettes, boteh motifs and delicate meandering vine between light blue palmette and arabesque stripes. Outer plain stripe. approx: 5ft.6in. x 3ft.7in.(168cm. x 109cm.) Very nicely drawn design and very well balanced paster colours. This rug has full pile of soft kurk wool and part silk. Both ends with original kilim and fringes. Selvages also original. Extremely fine weave, approx: 10 x 9 knotss per sq.cm; woven on silk foundation.
