A pair of Victorian novelty sterling silver ‘quack’ sauceboats, London 1866/69 by Messrs Barnard
Each formed a swimming duck, the tail forming the pouring lip. Each engraved underneath QUACK. Gilt interiors. Each with garnet set eyes, one rose cut one cabochon cut. Each fully marked underneath and stamped for THOMAS’S BOND ST, as well as 48 and I or 612 and V respectively. (2)
