Worked in silk and metallic threads, with an eagle flying over the American flags, and a banner with the United States motto E Pluribus Unum (Out of many, one) against a black ground, possibly produced by the Gorge Washington Company, Yokohama, framed and glazed, 46 x 47cm, 64.5 x 66cm (frame).
