Of inverted baluster form upon a spreading circular foot, the cast and applied shell capped curved spout with moulded and chased rocaille junction opposite a wooden C scroll handle pinned to shell capped scroll junction. The hinged domed lid surmounted by a later detachable acorn finial. The body with contemporaneous embossed rocaille scrolls and foliage with pendant swags reserved with fish scale, one side with an erased vacant cartouche. The lid with flat chased rocaille work to the edge. Fully marked underneath, the lid unmarked.
