AN EGYPTIAN BRONZE FALCON Late Period - Ptolemaic Period, Circa 664 - 30 B.C. Naturalistically depicted with large talons and long tail feathers, the falcon wears the crown of Lower Egypt, 13.5cm high. Provenance: Swiss private collection, Dr R.H. (1922-2007), acquired in 1996.
