An early 20th century French Art Deco silver mounted ivory cigarette case, Paris circa 1910 by Joseph Maisel (reg. 1910)
Of rectangular form, the engine turned silver mounts with a gold collect set demi-lune tortoiseshell push button release. The interior with a silver retaining arm with gold inlay, engraved with a stylised geometric pattern. Together with a late 19th century French silver pique work ivory purse circa 1870, with an applied cartouche engraved with initials ML in gothic script and an abalone shell inlaid horn necessaire case, contents absent.
