In an ivory and beige border of interlocking stylised tulip flowerheads between reciprocal and floral meander stripes. Outer plain stripes, approx: 8ft.7in. x 5ft.7in.(261cm. x 170cm.) Elegant and very nicely drawn design and very good colour combinatuon. Bold appearance. This carpet was woven in sumac technique (flat weave) and is in very good condition throughout. Both ends and selvages arfe original. Attractive and very good furnishing piece.
