An early to mid-20th century Vietnamese silver box, Huế circa 1930, marked Da Fu
Of shaped form with a hinged lid, the top with embossed and pierced decoration of lily pads, storks, and a figure upon a cloud. The sides with peonies and birds, reserved with triangular punch work. Marked underneath in Chinese 大福 (DA FU). Together with a smaller pierced and embossed box, marked the same, also a beaker with ajouré decoration of foliage possibly marked 抈 (YUE). (3)
