A Victorian sterling silver novelty vesta case, Birmingham 1895 by Jabez Hodgetts

Of rectangular form with rounded corners, with suspension ring to the side. All over chased with turbo, turret and scallop shells. Each side with a vacant scrolling cartouche. Gilt interior. Fully marked to base, part-marked to lid.
