A FINE PART SILK KASHAN RUG, CENTRAL PERSIA, approx: 203cm. x 132cm. Very good type with nicely drawn design with part silk. Very good colours combinaton with soft light beige field and lovely soft green floral border. The wool is soft and lustrous quality and is in full pile. Silk used in design has wear. Selvages rebound, well done. Ends with very short fringes. Fine weave, approx; 7 x 7 knots per sq. cm. In general this rug is in very good usable condition, despite the imerfections which do reflect in an estimate. Attractive and very good furnishing piece.
