A pair of very large George III Irish sterling silver sauceboats, Dublin circa 1770 by Ambrose Boxwell (active 1768-1823)
Each of bellied oval form upon three scroll feet with shell and scroll junctions, the leaf capped triple C scroll handles leading to a cut wavy rim. Each engraved underneath with scratch weight 37=12. Each marked underneath with makers mark, town mark and standard mark only. (2)
