An Edwardian Britannia standard silver butt marker, London 1902 by Cornelius Saunders & James Shepherd
Of rounded rectangular form with a hinged lid topped with a suspension loop. The front engraved with a crest of a demi-lion rampant, holding between the paws a fleur-de-lis. The interior with eight ivory makers each incised with blackened numerals 1 through 8. Fully marked to the base bezel and part-marked to the interior of the lid.
