A CHINESE GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF A BODHISATTVA.

Seated in a rajalilasana, the royal ease pose on a lotus base, with the right hand in virtaka mudra, the left resting on his knee, wearing an ornamental dhoti, a lavish jewellery and a three-pointed tiara over a tall chignon, a large blossom to each shoulder displaying his attributes: a book and a sword, a double vajra mark incised to the underside, 37cm H, 5.75kg.
