A PAIR OF CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'DRAGON' CANDLESTICKS.

Qing Dynasty, 19th Century.

Each formed in two sections, the lower section with a knopped stem emerging from a stepped domed base, the upper section slotting together below a wide flat drip pan below a further knopped stem, the stems and base of the drip pan decorated with bats among clouds, the interior and base decorated with dragons chasing flaming pearls, the rim and edge of the drip pan bound in copper, the bases with four character yongsheng liang ji marks, 18cm H. (4)
