THREE CHINESE EMBROIDERED HATS.
Qing Dynasty.
The first worked on red and black silk with stylised fish, blossoms and birds, the second with colourful scrolls and ribbons, additionally decorated with eight repoussé figures of Buddha above the forehead, each with a metal finial and small bells sewn to the temples, the last embroidered with blossoms, butterflies and other animals on a black and orange ground, with padded blossoms to the top and a flap to the back, 37cm long.
