STANLEY WANLESS (b1941) 'FAST COMPANY' COLD PAINTED BRONZE SCULPTURE, depicting Phill Hill and Ritchie Ginther in a Ferrari 375MM during the Carrera Panamericana Mexico Race 1954, on a silver plated and brass inlaid granite revolving base, inscribed "Wanlass no. 22/40", the base bearing a plaque 'Fast Company, Hill - Ginther - Ferrari, Stanley Wanless, together with a certificate from Renaissance International Inc.

Provenance: Wolfgang H Gawor, engineer and classic car collector, thence by descent to his son. Much of Mr Gawor's classic car collection was sold through Gooding & Company on the 15th of August 2004, at the Pebble Beach Equestrian Center, including a 122 Locomobile Model 48 Sportif Tourer, a 1924 Delage GL Skiff-Torpedo, a 1937 Delage Olympic Coupé, a 1910 Knox Model R 'Raceabout', and a 1921 Farman A6B Suber Sport Torpedo.
