A late 20^th century Indian silver bottle (surahi), Bombay circa 1970

Of globular form upon a spreading circular collet foot, the tall tapering neck with a pull-out stopper of ribbed form. The body with chased decoration of foliate scrolls and rosettes. Machined with initials FK underneath. The base and stopper flange stamped STERLNIG SILVER.
