***Rare edition. The work contains two letters of Fantini concerning the illness and death of pope Clemens VII and the accession to the papal throne of Paul III, as well as Barbarossa's incursion on the Lazio coasts where he also attempted to kidnap Giulia Gonzaga. Nothing is known about the author.
