A GROUP OF SEVEN JADE CARVINGS.

19th / 20th Century.

Comprising: a carving of a phoenix, a belt panel with incised C-scroll decoration, a cylindrical bead with archaistic patterns, a jadeite brush rest with arched feet and three bevels along the top, and three bi disks, one incised and pierced in the shape of a coin, 2 - 7cm long. (7)

Provenance: an important South African private collection, acquired between the 1960s and 1980s, thence by descent to the present owner.
