Qing Dynasty, 18th Century.

The trumpet-shaped body painted with a small bird among blooming prunus and other blossoms, the foot rim with a band of flower heads and leaves, 23cm H.

Provenance: English diplomatic collection, acquired in Beijing in the 1950s, thence by descent.
