Of rectangular shape, the steel plaque highlighted in gold and engraved with a typical Mughal-style lion hunting scene, two attendants with staves poking the angry feline, the prince on elephant's back ready to shoot his arrow, set in a hilly landscape reminiscent of Kotah Rajasthani paintings, mounted on a later wooden frame, the plaque 30cm x 25cm, 37.4cm x 32.5cm including the frame.
