AN INDIAN LOW-GRADE SILVER FIGURE OF A CAMEL AND ITS RIDER
Possibly Rajasthan, North-Western India, first half 20th century
Cast, hammered and soldered in the shape of a camel with its rider, the saddle, blanket and attire of the rider finely engraved to showcase lush vegetal sprays interspersed with palmettes and rosettes, on the rider's side a small dhal shield and khanjar dagger, approximately 48cm x 46.5cm.
