An early 20^th century Austrian 900 standard silver and guilloche enamel snuff box, Vienna circa 1900 by Georg Adam Scheid (1834-1921, reg. 1882)

Of elliptical form with a hinged lid raised by a simple thumbpiece, the lid with an engine turned ground topped with a translucent off-white enamel, painted to the back section in teal enamel with roses and leaves, all edged with a band of teal enamel, the sides with similar. Gilt interior. Marked to base and interior G.A.S, as well as assay mark and stamped 900.
