AN ANTIQUE MALAYIR RUG, WEST PERSIA, approx: 194cm. x 132cm. Unusual design for this type, well drawn though. Colours are well balanced. This rug has slight wear to the top pile, down to knot collar in places showing dot like warps. Selvagbes rebound. End with very short fringes, slight loss to the guard stripe, secured. All this reflects in an estimate. In general this rug is in good usable condition. Attractive.
