Stone  Watercolour on card  Inscribed with an extract from the poem on a small card attached to the backboard 13cm x 11cm Teresa Makri was a young girl from Athens, to whom Lord Byron wrote a poem in 1810. The present miniature is after a drawing by F. Stone which was also engraved by W. Finden and published in London by J. Murray and Co. in 1837.
