A GROUP OF EGYPTIAN SCARABS AND AMULETS Including a steatite scaraboid, with a cow depicted in high relief, lying down, head now missing, the underside with hieroglyphic symbols, Middle Kingdom, circa 1975 - 1640 B.C.; four steatite scarabs, including two with green glaze and inscribed undersides and an uninscribed stone scarab, Middle Kingdom, circa 1975 - 1640 B.C.; a miniature shabti with incised hieroglyphs, Late Period, circa 664 - 332 B.C.; a glazed steatite plaque and a glazed steatite scarab, both modern, 0.9 - 4.8cm long, (9) Provenance: UK Collection, acquired 1960s-1990s.
