A CHINESE GILT-DECORATED BLACK LACQUER ‘TEA PRODUCTION’ BOX TOGETHER WITH A FAMILLE ROSE TANKARD.

Qing Dynasty, 18th / 19th Century.

The box decorated with the cover and four sides each depicting different processes in the production of tea, the tankard decorated with a riverscape scene of boats enamelled within underglaze blue borders, the handle moulded as a dragon, the tankard 13.5cm H, the box 10 x 20.5 x 16cm. (2)

Provenance: from an English private collection.
