Of rectangular form, the lid with a central panel of engine turned decoration topped with translucent white enamel, bordered with green enamel, the corners with chased rounded motifs. The reverse with a plain engine turned section bordered in the same style centred with an applied chased unmarked gold Crown of Egypt (1922-53) for King Farouk I (R.1939-52). Gilt interior. Fully and part-marked.
