A GLAZED COMPOSITION SHABTI Late Period, 26th - 27th Dynasty, Circa 664 - 404 B.C. A Shabti for Hered-ankh, depicted in typical form, wearing a tripartite wig and false beard, holding the crook and flail, with a central column of hieroglyphs, 13.5cm high. Provenance: Ex Belmore collection; with Charles Ede Ltd.; property from a private collection, UK, acquired in 1998.
