The two joined panels of cotton printed and painted, the central circular motif, the squinches, and the margins in madder red, manganese purple, teal blue, the centre field resist-dyed in pale turquoise blue, the field with delicate open floral sprays, the margins with flowering Mughal shrubs interspersed with parakeets holding floral sprays in their beaks, 292cm x 148cm.
